What did you do to celebrate our Country's Freedom? My folks took Amber and Justin to the parade in the AM (I had to stay home and do homework). Then we met up for an afternoon of hanging out before heading to Jake and Alyssa's for dinner on the grill and then we were off to fireworks! Here is Earle waiting for the fireworks to start. He is feeling sorry for himself because A: He has to wear a silly bandanna B: He has to wear his gentle leader C: He isn't allowed on the blanket D: He can see and smell the hot dog stand but hasn't had any free samples yet. Poor Earle.

On Sunday we went up to the cottage for some tubing, swimming off the pontoon boat, family dinner and a bon-fire. A fabulous way to wrap up a great weekend. Monday... I did more homework :(
