Whew, Saturday was a zoo for us (in a good kind of way). We started with a BIG breakfast... then the kids took Earle for a walk (he slipped his collar and ran away), headed to my folk's house to pick up the trailer, stopped to visit Mike's mom, went to the Habitat for Humanity "Re-Store" to buy fan-fold, went home to have some lunch (pigs-in-a -blanket OR Turtles as Amber and Justin called them), did a craft project & played in the tree-house. Whew and that was all before 4... Then I showered and headed out for a girl's night on the town with Mike's mom and two sisters and left my little charges in the care of their Uncle Mike. Who proceeded to take them for a quad ride... made them load wood into the trailer :), went to BK in Lowell for dinner where they played in "play land" for almost an hour then he took them to rent a movie (Beverly Hills Chihuahua) and then tucked them safely into bed around 9:30. What an EXCELLENT uncle! They must have been tuckered out because they both slept in Sunday morning until after 8 :)
Fresh air will do a body good!
Check out their craft project. We made "hover balls" and it was trickier than it looks. If the arms or eyes or hair aren't placed JUST right then they wouldn't hover correctly. But the kids loved it... we had fun!
Eeyore wasn't so sure about those hovering balls... he wanted to play with them sooooo bad but he didn't dare go close enough. He was content watching from afar.
