An Exciting Night In...

So, what did we do for an exciting night in? We watched the kids (Amber and Justin) and all ventured out to Grandma Harry and Grandpa John's house to make homemade icecream with all of the fixings... according to the kids, this was a first for them! So, long story short, we got them hopped up on sugar, Mike wrestled with them ...

...and then they were so tired that by the time they went to bed at 10 o'clock they were still sleeping Sunday morning when the alarm went off at 8:15 am... Nothing like spoiling them rotten to ensure they sleep in good for us!

The anticipation grows as the ingredients are measured and dumped together... and then the wait begins...

The first sample... of course they get to lick the spatula...

The final product... Amber has more Whipped Cream and Marshmallow Topping than actual Ice Cream. ...and of course, Justin's is COVERED in Hershey's and Oreos!
